Summer concerts are a staple in our household—we bring dinner and a blanket and are good to go! There's something about live music under open skies or watching a movie surrounded by neighbors and fireflies that makes summer feel exactly how it's meant to. Whether you’d like to relax to acoustic folk, dance to cover bands, or catch a family movie on the lawn, this year’s lineup of mostly free local events is full of heart, rhythm, and small-town charm.

Here’s your curated guide to the region’s 2025 concerts and movie nights—with a few favorite local hangouts sprinkled in for good measure.

🎺 Quabbin Community Band – Barre Common

A beloved tradition featuring themed concerts each week—bring your chairs, your crew, and enjoy everything from Broadway hits to Dixieland night.
